Ready before you go.
A step-by-step guide to installing your eSIM. Always follow your supplier’s package-specific instructions first.
Before installation
Connect to Wi-Fi, check device compatibility, and confirm when the plan’s validity begins. Have the supplier’s installation details ready on another screen, or use its supported manual or one-tap method.
Install on iPhone
- Open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data) → Add eSIM.
- Choose Use QR Code and scan the code supplied with your order. Use Enter Details Manually if that option is provided.
- Follow the prompts and label the line so you can recognize it, such as “Travel data”.
- Select the travel eSIM for mobile data when you are ready to use it. Follow supplier guidance on data roaming and activation.
- Keep data roaming off on your home SIM if you want to avoid home-carrier roaming data charges. Check automatic data switching too.
Install on Google Pixel
- Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
- Choose Add SIM → Set up an eSIM. Menu wording can differ by Android version.
- Scan the supplier QR code and follow the download and setup prompts.
- Choose the eSIM for mobile data when you are ready. Apply the supplier’s roaming and activation instructions.
- Keep your order details safely saved. Avoid removing the eSIM if you need help connecting.
Install on Samsung Galaxy
- Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager.
- Choose Add eSIM, then scan the supplier QR code. Some versions call this “Add mobile plan”.
- Follow the onscreen prompts to add the plan.
- Choose the travel eSIM for mobile data and use the supplier’s instructions for data roaming and activation.
- If your menus do not include eSIM, verify your exact model and carrier restrictions before continuing.
Not connecting yet?
- Confirm that you are in a covered destination and the plan is valid.
- Check that the eSIM is enabled and selected for mobile data.
- Follow supplier instructions for roaming, network selection, and APN. Do not guess settings.
- Try toggling airplane mode, then contact supplier support if the issue remains.
Do not delete the eSIM as a troubleshooting step. Reinstallation may not be supported. Ask the supplier for help ↗ (opens in a new tab).
